Françoise Nunez photographs while travelling. In 1989, she discovered the north of India and there in Delhi she met the writer Jean-Christophe Bailly. Other trips followed: Kerali, Tami Nadu, Culcutta; stop offs that produced an aesthetic and intellectual adventure where reality became a metaphor through a very personal poetry. Her vibrating images waver between glimmer and halted movements, lines of escape and stiffened moments follow one another. |
